FALL 2006 COLLECTION: Design: The Kayon R.O.A. project launched its first collection for the fall of ‘06. Kayon was honored to work with the 7 artists who donated their work for the project. Artists include Ben Loiz, Asif Mian, Jesse Alexander, Carolina Chaves, Damion Silver, Christopher Bettig and Nicole Burke. These artists were generous enough to take time out of their busy schedules to donate work that is being used to make a positive change in our world. Product: Designs were all screened onto 100% organic
cotton (why
organic?) sweatshop-free shirts. Kayon creates sustainable product.
We strive towards using materials and means of productions that have
no negative impact on the environment nor the people who helped to
make the goods. We have printed the shirts in a limited edition run
of 36 shirts per design. The 100% silk label attached on the inside
of each shirt is hand signed by the artist and numbered. |
